Denise is passionate about empowering individuals to cope with trauma and relational difficulties. She is also passionate about equipping couples and individuals to achieve more satisfying and healthy relationships. She leads therapy groups for women recovering from the damage of a husband’s sexual addiction.

Education
Denise received her Master of Arts degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Bethel Seminary San Diego in June 2012, graduating Magna Cum Laude. Denise is a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists. She is certified in pre-marital and marriage counseling through PREPARE/ ENRICH. Denise is currently working toward EFT certification. Denise received her clinical experience at Saint Vincent de Paul Village where she helped strengthen healthy attachment in couples and families. She also worked with children, adults and couples struggling with trauma. Other experience includes Elizabeth Hospice and Interfaith Community Services. Denise is a wife and mother of five children, the last one by international adoption.
